On a very first look it seems to be impractical, but that’s one of the important thing we wanted to bring with LegalXGen and I am happy to share that we could achieve the same.
Few days back I was at one of my client’s place (mid size law firm based in Bangalore) to implement LegalXGen. Within 10 minutes of time I was able to give a quick demo for the implementation and the staff lady was able to to set-up the system by her own started using like any social networking site.
In my 10 years of carrier as a Developer I have been part of few business critical software products. I understand some times complexity can not be reduced from any software because of its business process, but on the other side many times unnecessarily complexity is introduced to lots of system. So, our idea was not to fall again in the same category where lots of bulky manuals are needed to do even simple things. In order to achieve the same two things plays important role, 1) through business understanding and 2) UI/UX.
